Emotional Regulation & Anxiety

We support children and young people to better understand and manage their emotional responses. This may include anxiety, overwhelm, frustration, or difficulty coping with everyday demands. Therapy focuses on building regulation, resilience, and a sense of safety — for both the child and their family.

Attention, Executive Functioning & Motivation

We support children who find it difficult to start, sustain, and complete tasks. This includes attention, organisation, time management, and motivation — helping young people develop the skills needed to function more independently across home and school environments.

School Participation & Learning Access

We work with children to understand what they need in order to engage in learning. This may include adapting environments, supporting learning differences (diagnosed or not), and working closely with schools to optimise participation, inclusion, and success.

Functional Skills & Development

Handwriting & Written Output

We assess and support all aspects of written output — from pencil grasp and letter formation through to written expression and exam demands. Where needed, we provide detailed assessment and recommendations to support school-based and SCASA granted exam accommodations and learning outcomes.

Daily Living Skills & Independence

We support children who experience difficulty with everyday tasks such as sleep, routines, dressing, eating, and self-care. Our focus is on building independence in a way that is achievable and sustainable within the family context.

Sensory Processing & Interoception

We support children who experience differences in how they process sensory information — both from the environment and within their body. This includes sound, movement, touch, and interoception (body awareness), with strategies designed to support regulation and daily functioning.

Gross Motor & Coordination

We support the development of movement skills including coordination, postural control, strength, and motor planning. These skills underpin participation in play, sport, and everyday activities.

Complex Assessment & Specialist Areas

Complex Presentations & Diagnostic Clarification

We are often engaged to support children where the picture is not straightforward. This may include more in-depth assessment, collaboration with your broader team, and contributing to diagnostic understanding (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder; Motor Based Dysgraphia). We also provide Functional Capacity Assessments and detailed reporting where required.

Upper Limb & Hand Function

With advanced training in hand therapy, we provide specialised assessment and intervention for upper limb function. This includes fine motor challenges, pain, injury, hypermobility, congenital differences, and functional impacts on daily activities such as handwriting and self-care. Custom splinting and casting for acute, post operative and chronic conditions can be provided where indicated.

Hypermobility, Pain & Fatigue

We support children and adolescents experiencing pain, fatigue, or reduced capacity. Therapy focuses on pacing, strengthening, regulation, and practical strategies to support participation in everyday life.

Developmental Assessment

We provide comprehensive assessments to understand a child’s strengths, challenges, and support needs. Assessments may include fine and gross motor, visual motor integration, sensory processing, play, behaviour, communication and functional skills — with clear, practical recommendations provided.
